The Classic Torque Series is a completely redesigned and re-engineered version of a traditional long time favorite lowspeed motor the MidwestTM ShortyTM. We have improved and made a few modifications to the original design leaving the basic feel and performance of the motor much the same as you may be used to. Compare to the original – save hundreds with similar performance.
Although this motor has been re-engineered and redesigned we are still dealing with an older and in our opinion obsolete design. Therefore this motor is only recommended for those offices currently using ShortyTM motors and do not want to replace all their angles and attachments. This motor is not recommended for new offices, better performance, durability, features and overall value are available by upgrading to the Turbo-Torque motor system.
